Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman has called for honest performance of government duties. He made the call while addressing an exchange meeting at the council’s conference room in Rangunia upazila on Sunday (January 18th).

He said Bangladesh is going to become a developed and prosperous country in 2041. Everyone has to keep pace with the times. To do a good job you have to face a lot of criticism and obstacles. However, these critics cannot be considered enemies. Critics cannot be pushed away as opponents. It must be remembered that the work of the employees of the Republic is to provide uninterrupted service. In the same way that the Prime Minister is providing real service to the people, we also have to work with honest courage to implement his goals and objectives. We have to keep the office on time keeping in view the time. ”

The meeting was organized by Rangunia Upazila Administration with local people’s representatives, government officials, freedom fighters, media personnel and eminent personalities. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masudur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Swajan Kumar Talukder, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rajib Chowdhury, Freedom Fighter Commander Khairul Bashar Munshi, Animal Resources Officer Mostafa Kamal, Social Service Officer Muhammad Hasan, Secondary Education Officer Nurul Islam Chowdhury, Fisheries Officer Swapan Chandra Dey, former Rangunia Press Club spoke. General Secretary Masud Nasir, Primary Education Officer. Hindu Bari, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Laila Bilkis, Muhammad Nizam Uddin, Prabir Kumar Chowdhury, Women’s Affairs Officer Sonia Sufi, Project Implementation Officer Babul Kanti Chakma, Cooperative Officer Divakar Das Manna, Rural Electricity AGM Jewel Das, Assistant Youth Development Officer Khairul Alam and others.

Earlier, the deputy commissioner inspected the newly constructed houses of the shelter project for the landless and homeless in different areas of the upazila.
